On confirming your booking you are entering into an agreement with Taylors at LN Lower Nill Farm, Hook Norton, Banbury, OX15 5DG.
Our House Rules which are shown here are also provided in written form in your hut. These also form part of your agreement with Taylors at LN along with our Terms & Conditions below please read:
Covid
If you are to book with us and then government restrictions are put in place that restrict travel we will offer you a full refund or credit note for your stay.If you are unable to make your stay due to your contracting covid we will also provide you with a refund or credit note.
Bookings & confirmations
Upon making a reservation we require payment in full. Our cancellation policy provides a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of making the booking if the checkin date is at least 14 days away. We will provide a 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before checkin. No refunds are given for cancellations made within 7 days of checkin.We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance to cover the event of cancellation.
Checkin and departure
The huts are available from 4pm onwards on the day of checkin, with checkout of 10am on the day of departure. These times are set to allow us sufficient time to prepare the huts for the next guests.You are provided with a set of house rules that you agree you have read and will adhere to. On departure we ask that guests place their rubbish in designated containers/bins, all items in the kitchen washed and returned to the rightful place. If you use one of our bbq’s these and all utensils must be cleaned using the outdoor kitchen and left under the outdoor kitchen sink. Keys to be left as agreed at checkin or via other communication.
Breakages & damages
We have invested heavily in our huts and their interiors, whilst we expect some wear and tear we will require reimbursement for any significant breakages or damages. On booking we take a Security Deposit of 100 GBP. We ask that on exit you notify us of any damage or breakages if they have taken place, we will also inspect the hut after your departure. Where we need to recover costs we will provide you with the details of the item/s or damage and the costs associated with replacing or repairing. We will deduct this amount from the Security Deposit if we require further reimbursement over and above the Security Deposit held we will advise you of this and costs associated with replacement/repair, we expect this to be repaid in full. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning and ruined bedding/linen. If on departure there are no breakages, damages, linen damages or excessive cleaning we will refund your Security Deposit within 7 days of your departure.
Liability
Taylors at LN accepts no responsibility for any injury whilst on the farm, in the hut or using the hot tub, firepit and pizza oven. We permit our guests to enjoy the margins and some tracks of the farm; you do so at your own risk. We accept no liability for injury, illness or death. We can provide a cot bed for small children/babes in arms. We do not accept any responsibility for injury, illness or death whilst using our cot beds.
Negligence
Guests will be held responsible for any fire damage or alterations to the huts or other parts of the site caused by negligence.Please do not use the fire pits as bbq’s there are separate bbqs for your use. Tea lights are not permitted for use on the site. Use of candles is not permitted inside the huts. Please use the candles and lanterns provided near to the hot tubs.If your hut has the use of a wood burning stove you are not permitted to place or hang anything over or near to the stove.
Stolen property
Taylors at LN accepts no responsibility for any lost or stolen items this includes your vehicles. Your belongings are your responsibility.
Children
We accept babes in arms in both Greengage and Apple hut, we can provide a simple cot bed for your use whilst staying with us.Apple Hut can accommodate a child up to age of 11 the bedding arrangement will mean they use the daybed in the living room for sleeping.
Dogs
We accept ONE small well behaved dog to stay in our Greengage Hut. You agree that you have read our house rules and adhere to them regarding your dog. You are permitted to use the Poochie but you must leave this as you found it and adhere to the house rules associated to this.
We do NOT accept dogs in Apple Hut.
Smoking
We operate a NO smoking policy inside all of our huts. If you do smoke you are permitted to smoke outside, however you are responsible for the clean and tidy disposal of your smoking waste. Please dispose using the general waste bins. Please do not leave smoking waste (cigarette buts) in fire pits, bbq’s or grass/woodland.If we find that guests have been smoking in the huts you will be held responsible for the cost associated with restoring the space to satisfactory condition.
Access
Guests are permitted to access the glamping orchard, parking, poochie, farm store and footpaths to these areas. Guests are also encouraged to explore some of the margins/tracks of our farm. Guests are NOT permitted to access the main farm, any other buildings on the farm or fields where livestock are situated. There are a number of footpaths on the farm and guests must follow the countryside code of conduct while using them.
House rules
All house rules apply during your stay and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if you are causing undue disturbance or nuisance to other guests or private residents. We will not issue any refunds in the event of this happening as you are in breach of the contract of conditions of your booking.
Complaints
Our aim is to provide the best experience possible for our guests. If however, you feel that you need to make a complaint please make contact in writing to: Jenny Taylor at Taylors at LN Lower Nill Farm Hook Norton Oxfordshire OX15 5DG detailing your complaint in writing. Please state your booking name, reference number and dates of stay. Please note any claims received after 14 days of your departure date cannot be reliably investigated.
