Cotswold distillerys beautiful visitors centre near Stourton

A beautiful distillery located between the villages of Whichford and Stourton. This is one of our favourite places to go on a summer afternoon to enjoy a cocktail and maybe take home a cheeky bottle of your favourite tipple. For those with an appreciation of spirits take a tasting tour of the distillery.
WE RECOMMEND
A grapefruit collins cocktail and a slice of cake in the onsite cafe.
Hook Norton Brewerys victorian vistor centre and brewery

BREWERY
Another alcohol-themed experience. Visit the majestic victorian Hook Norton Brewery and learn about how the famous local ales are made then taste them in the onsite bar. The brewery also has an onsite cafe called the Malthouse Kitchen serving breakfast and lunch plus a well-stocked shop bursting with hooky paraphernalia.

Pint of hooky ‘Best’ with some pork scratchings.
Feldon Valley‘s club house and kitchen

GOLF COURSE
Some call golf 'a good walk spoiled’ but even if your swing needs work there are a few better places to improve it in our area than Feldon Valley. It's an immaculate course and when you've finished your round we recommend a visit to their fantastic restaurant and bar for some food from their locally sourced menu.

18 holes followed by a pint of hooky and a paddock farm burger.
Rhinos in the heart of the Cotswold
COTSWOLD WILDLIFE PARK & GARDENS
If you love animals and well-kept gardens then this is the place for you. In some parts of the park, you may feel you are looking at a scene from the Maasai Mara, not in the middle of the Cotswolds with Rhinos and Giraffes roaming the grounds. It's a brilliant family day with lots of interesting activities for adults and kids alike.

We like the crocodiles in the reptile house.

If you love high end food then you will love Daylesford. It's a mecca for lovers of fresh produce who don't mind paying a little more for it. Daylesford is also home to a cookery school and wellness spa so whether you are looking to brush up on your culinary skills or for a bit of pampering as a treat look no further.

We love their Prosecco and also some of their freshly prepared salads.

On the outskirts of Burford sits a huge expanse of amazing plants, garden tools, furniture, clothes, kid's toys, food, and cafe. You could spend hours here if you had the time and money. The onsite cafe offers high-quality food and drink so whether its tea and cake or a full 3-course meal you won’t be disappointed.
